My Project

Through twenty-five years of special education, I have seen how environments can change students and assist them in making good choices, support their mental health, and meet students sensory needs. The supplies in this area will be utilized for students to have a calming space in my special education classroom. This space will benefit students by providing options when they feel dysregulated or upset. They will be able to choose materials that best meet their needs in order to calm down and return to a ready-to-learn state of mind. Please consider supporting my students' needs by providing this safe and sensory space in my special education classroom.
