My Project

I am a second grade teacher at P. Elementary in Mesa. We are a title one school. The students in our school have been affected by COVID and learning has become different. Due to COVID students have a lot of emotions to process and need a calm and safe environment.

I would like to provide my students with a place to feel safe and happy.

The tools that they will have are posters that teach them calming strategies, calming tools, brain break games, books, and a library to provide them a safe and comfortable place to read and work.
