Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is an all inclusive program. We have students with different abilities and needs. A calming corner is crucial for their social emotional development. I want my students to have a safe space they can go to when they need to de-escalate. They are only 4 and 5 year olds that are still learning to navigate their emotions. These materials will allow them to have an area with different items they can use to help them calm down and make them feel safe and secure. Thank you so much in advance for helping make our classroom a happier place.
