Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will be able to identify their emotions and will be able to visit it independently on a daily basis. With these new items, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books or sensory that will allow them to feel happy and confident in the classroom. These calming area items will help students build skills and de-escalate. The items will provide students with a safe space and students will be able to visit this area when they are having a difficult time or when their emotions are running too high.
