Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Creating a calming area for students will provide them with a safe and quiet place for them to take a break when needed, self regulate, and reduce stress.

These students overcome adversity everyday when they simply walk though the classroom door.

Students at our school are faced with many challenges both in and out of the classroom, and yet, they are always excited to come to school each morning and are willing and ready to learn. I love taking any opportunity to give the students at Napa Street Elementary what will help them be prepared and ready for the future.

Utilizing the items on the list, will teach the students breathing exercises and calming techniques that will teach students how to manage their feelings in a supportive environment will give them life-long life skills.
