My Project

It is extremely important for my students to express their feelings and emotions. My students would benefit tremendously from having a calm, comforting space to process their emotions. Resources such as breathing boards, lap pads, gel bead friends, calming sensory tubes, stepping stones, sensory mats, and timers will help develop skills in identifying and regulating their emotions. Also, these amazing resources will help build fine motor skills, assist in regaining focus and provide engaging sensory exploration. By using these tools, my students will be successful in their learning each and every day in a calm, safe space.
