My Students
Our students are great kids in some trying times. I love the resiliency I see each day from each of them. I enjoy seeing their faces light up and have fun during my time with them.
They enjoy being here each day and I want to have the opportunity to enhance their learning as a total child.
They are a hardworking group of kids and do anything that I ask of them with no complaints. Our school is in an area that is lowering in population each year because of families trying to find quality jobs in other areas. The kids are grateful to be able to play and have a high quality physical education class. Combining mindfulness and calming activities to the curriculum is a positive reinforcement for the physical education course and student body.
This equipment can enhance learning all aspects of becoming well-rounded young people. They are learning and growing as children and becoming better students, leaders, and people by being a part of such a positive atmosphere.
My Project
These speakers will help students calm themselves and learn mindful techniques to cope with the daily stresses of life and school. Calming music and rhythms will be playing daily in order to relax students during physical education.
A mixture of physical activity combined with mindfulness and calming interventions can enhance student learning as well as coping strategies.
This project assists in making a difference to reach each child more in-depth, to enhance student learning and educate with lifetime skills to deal with a variety of obstacles.
The nature of the the strategies and techniques will enable students to endure hardships through physical activity and relaxation techniques.
