My Project

The children in my classroom are 4 and 5 years old. Some of them are coping with things at home that are well beyond their years. To make my classroom a safe space, we practice yoga, mindfulness and maintain a calm classroom.

We are working on techniques that will last beyond preschool.

The Slumberkins are a great way to incorporate social emotional learning with a tangible, soft, cuddly and familiar animal to hold. I have chosen the ones that I think will best suit my children in PreK. Please help me give my students these supportive and sweet social emotional tools to cuddle!
