This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I desperately need a new rug for our Calm Down Center in my office! I am re-doing my Calm Down Center with more comfortable seating. My students love to lay on the bean bag in the area to calm down. I feel a rug will add more comfort to my calm down center. Right now I do not have a rug for students to lay on.

I am creating a new space in my room where students can go to calm down.

There will be comfy bean bag for students to sit on. There will also be stuffed animals in the area so students can cuddle with them when they are upset. A new rug will brighten up the space and really entice my students to go to the center when they are upset. The donations for this project will improve my room by reducing the amount of behavioral issues.
