My Project

Many of my students come from different homes and different economic backgrounds. Many of my students are lacking basic resources and necessities. When students do not feel clean, full, or comfortable, it makes it very difficult for students to be fully engaged and focused in class.

I want to create a safe, comfortable, and helpful classroom that students can come into for toiletries like Wet Ones, lotion, or deodorant to freshen up, grab a small snack, or decompress with a fidget or coloring page!

Many students lack feminine products, food, a place to wash up, or a place to calm down when they get over emotional. I have been able to provide many resources to help students, and want to improve not just my safe space, but a home for my students.
