My Students

Some of my first graders have family situations that are inconsistent. My first graders come from a variety of backgrounds. Some of them have home lives that don't provide them with predictable structure and support. Despite the differences among the families, all of the students have one thing in common. They all love coming to school and learning.

My goal is to provide these youngsters with a warm and stable environment every day at school.

I want to create an atmosphere of calm and tranquility that allows all students to feel comfortable and focus on learning and growing.

My Project

These florescent light covers will help reduce anxiety in my first graders and allow them to relax and focus on learning. A calm and inviting environment will benefit all students.

Research studies show that calming colors and soothing lighting in classrooms help to improve students' levels of concentration, reduce tension and anxiety, and promote positive performance.

My students deserve to have the most optimum conditions for learning in their classroom. Our environment should provide an atmosphere of peace and calm so that students can be ready to learn and grow. These light covers will help to establish this relaxing setting.
