My Students

My classroom is a home away from home! I wish all my students to feel safe and happy in a peaceful environment.

Play is our work!

I am fortunate to be able to team teach in kindergarten, but with that comes many busy and energetic children always looking for something new! We work and play hard each day. We are located in northwest Florida, and our school serves many military families in our area. My students are eager to learn!

My Project

A calm classroom environment provides students with a safe place to learn, make mistakes, and grow as learners as well as individuals. If students feel safe and calm, they will be more willing to try new things and take risks to expand their minds. A disruptive classroom environment can hinder their learning and affect their academic performance. It can also affect how they treat others as well as how they feel about themselves.

The fluorescent lights that are typically found in classrooms can cause eye strain, headaches, and stress.

These cloud light covers will reduce headaches and stress in our classroom by providing softer lighting to learn in. This will also be a big help to those students with special needs, such as ADHD and autism. The fluorescent light covers will play a big part in fostering calm classroom environment that my students need to help them learn.
