My students need Chromebooks in order to build their skills for typing, using the internet for research and for practicing their language using educational games.

My Students

My students are from countries all over the world. They work hard every day to learn, grow and strengthen their English language skills!

Reading, writing, speaking and listening: These are the skills my students sharpen everyday as they become bilingual learners.

A glimpse into my classroom will show the many strengths of the school such as the diverse student body, the grit of the students and the successful futures they are working towards! Building their literacy is the key to success!

My Project

Our class will benefit greatly from Chromebooks! These will help us to practice some of the many skills that students need for success, such as typing and nagivating the web.

Many of the assessments that determine student and school success are now given online so our students need equal opportunities to practice these skills before the tests.

We will use these computers to type, work on educational games online and practice navigating the web using our new vocabulary and expressions. Students will be able to work on these skills during centers after I model them during a lesson for the class.
