My Students

I am a kindergarten teacher. I teach students ages 4-6, most from low-income backgrounds. Many of my students have experienced trauma. Despite their hardships they are curious and bright students. They work hard and they love to explore and learn.

The classroom is their safe haven, and it is the place where they learn who they are and who they want to be.

It is my hope to inspire emotionally educated, bright and caring young boys and girls.

My Project

Our art area needs some revamping! We are missing or short on some essential art materials. My students love creating, designing, making and drawing. These materials will allow them to keep the creativity flowing.

I hope to inspire and nurture future artists, engineers, designers, and creatives.

Students that love to work with their hands to explore and express their thoughts and feelings.

The markers, crayons, and paper bring representation into the classroom and reinforce that all people are beautiful, valued and worthy. The Expo markers and erasers allow students to play games like tic tac toe.
