Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

A class calendar serves many purposes. The magnetic center lets the whole class explore calendar concepts together. The center has a calendar grid with over 95 magnetic pieces. My students just stick on magnets to keep track of the days and months, seasons and weather, even special events and holidays. This calendar can be used for over 25 years. The magnetic calendar will target standards in these areas: • Calendar concepts • Counting to 20 and beyond • Print in the environment The other items on this list will be used to organize the classroom and provide meaningful support. Please help me provide the optimal learning environment.
