This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from a low income families and it is very hard for them to buy there own supplies. Everyday the students come into a fun exciting math class! I try and spread my positivity to each and every one of my students. My goal is to prepare each of my students for the years ahead in school and also for the real world. I try and make my room inviting and friendly so they feel safe.

All my students know when they walk into Mr. C's class they are in for a high energy lesson!

My Project

These calculators will be a great resource for students to use throughout each class. It is sometimes a struggle when they don't have calculators because the math is very intense. This will help them work through problems a lot easier.

This will help level the playing field so we can get more done!

Having a calculator will help move the class along and be able to cover more material. They can practice using these so in the high school they are ready to go in math. Using a calculator is also a good trade to know in the real world !
