This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The purpose of my project is to have enough calculators for my math students to borrow in class this upcoming school year. This year, many of my students were unable to purchase calculators due to the cost. Although any calculator will work, this specific kind is the one that is provided to complete all state testing. Being able to provide the calculators will allow me to teach them "shortcuts" using the calculator including fractions which many students struggle with.

Also, the $100 gift card for teacherspayteachers.com will allow me to purchase resources which I will have for the rest of my teaching career.

As an ESE math teacher, it is crucial I have the necessary materials in order for my students to be successful!
