Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students have expressed curiosity in science and want to learn more about microscopic organisms. The microscope will provide access to a whole new world of information for students to discover and explore!

Our classroom's varied math ability levels need additional support in specific skills.

The calculators will provide a tool for students to become more successful at new math concepts while still working on their mastery of math facts. The math facts boards will help provide independent practice opportunities for students during guided math groups. Lastly, the supplementation of classroom and student materials with items such as the protractors and compass will allow for equitable access to materials needed to learn new concepts in the school.
