My Students

I teach a wonderful group of 6th grade students!! They all work hard and strive to do well. My students are enthusiastic and supportive of each other. Our parents support our students, and together we all work to succeed.

Your donations will help in providing a calculator for each student.

We recently moved into a new facility, however, we have not received enough funding to purchase additional calculators with the new school. All students in 6th grade would benefit from having calculators every day!

My Project

We are currently sharing calculators with two other grade levels. With your donation, each student would be able to have their own calculator. This becomes a challenge for state testing, as we have to test different subject areas on the same day just to have enough calculators for a grade level. In sharing calculators, our sixth grade students use a graphing calculator that the eighth grade students must use. These calculators are much more advanced than needed for sixth grade students, and are often confusing for them to use. These calculators would be much easier for our students to understand and use.
