This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Help! Help! Help bring technology to our classroom! My students need the opportunity to experience learning through technology.

My class consists of first graders from Charlotte, North Carolina who love to experience hands-on learning through technology.

In Charlotte, we are beginning a new initiative called BYOT (Bring Your Own Technology). Although my students love using technology, most of them do not have the resources to bring their own technology from home. I would love to give my students this opportunity to experience technology in our classroom!

My Project

This project will broaden learning opportunities within the classroom. iPads will expose students to technology and resources they may not have available at home. The use of iPads will make the class more interactive and fun! The iPads will expand learning in all areas with the use of many apps for students to use!

Our new iPad will allow students to gain more use and exposure to technology within the classroom.

While using the iPad, the students will complete learning tasks through the iPad apps. The learning tasks may include phonics, science, social students, math, and other educational lessons and games. We can't wait to get our new iPad so we can be apart of the BYOT in CMS schools!
