My school is a Title I school with all students receiving free breakfast and lunch. I have been teaching at this school for 9 years and absolutely love it! My students are so eager to learn.
My sweet, incredible students actually want to come to school on their birthdays, holidays, and over extended breaks.
They love to know each other! They love to have fun! And, most importantly, they love to learn! The determination I see daily from my struggling students to my higher functioning students is incredible. I would love to be able to provide them anything that would make their love for learning continue.
My Project
I would like to get rid of the bins I am currently using and have a simplier way to store and charge our classroom Chromebooks. These would make them easier for me to see and help the students stay organized. We are very fortunate to have a classroom set of Chromebooks to use 1:1, but the classroom teachers had to find a way to properly store them and make charging easy. The way I am currently doing it it not the most effective. These charging stations would be amazing to have. The students would become much more independent with these in our classroom.
