Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students from Detroit are caring, fun, creative, and come to school daily to learn. As you know, Detroit isn't the best area in the states. I want to make my students happy.

When my students are happy, I am happy.

The city of Detroit's socioeconomic status just isn't great and because of that, many, if not all, of my students cannot afford certain items. There are many jobs that have closed in the past few years that have hindered my students' families. I want to provide for them that their families cannot at home.

My Project

These materials will help us keep our classroom supplied with what we need...and I NEED my students here AT school.

These supplies will help keep the classroom germ-free!

Germ-free means more healthy students at school...at school AND learning!

These supplies will be used throughout the day to clean off desks, door handles, hand-sanitizer for dirty and germy hands, and kleenex for their lil noses. Using wipes to clean desks will help my students strengthen their fine motor skills. Hopefully they will recognize to do the same at home - clean up after themselves. Plus the fabulous smell of the Clorox wipes is a win-win for the end of the day.
