Hello, I have been teaching kindergarten for ten years and have always wanted to have one of these special learning rugs. I chose this particular one because it will have a special place for each child to sit. I will be able to use the learning rug every day in a variety of ways. In kindergarten, I give instruction to the students on the floor every day. I will be able to play learning games with the letters. For example, the students that have a name beginning with the letter D could go stand by the D. I could also cover the letter we are learning for the week and during introduction, the students would have to figure out the new letter by going through the alphabet. Also, the students could match teacher-made pictures and letters to the letters on the learning rug. There are many activities I can think of to do and many more I'm sure I will think of if I am able to get the learning rug. It would be an excellent addition to our classroom and the students would be so excited to have it. It is something we will use every day. I would like to have the 7'6" x 12' size. It is the middle size and would be large enough for twenty-two students, which is what I have now. Thank you so much for your time!
