My group of students are very inquisitive this year!
They love school and want to do their very best.
Each day I am greeted with sparkling smiles and curious minds. They absorb everything in their environment and ask questions about every topic we discuss. My students come from a variety of cultural backgrounds. An important goal that I have for my students is to provide as much exposure to the English language to increase their confidence and development of language skills.
My Project
Students will observe the life cycle of a butterfly in all 4 stages. They will record data and observations with pens, post-its, and tape. They will use the seeds and peat pots to plant their very own plant and watch it grow over the course of a couple of weeks. They will use the pipets to water their plant and learn how to be responsible for living things.
The students will learn about what it takes to be a scientist.
They will learn about life cycles in real time in their very own classroom. It will be a memorable kindergarten experience.
