Our little school is located in the capital city of Charleston, West Virginia. The students our school serves come from low-income families and may not have many resources available to them. All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
With this being their first year of school, my students are still learning the skills necessary to be successful in school.
One of the things that many students struggle with is their ability to focus and pay attention to their tasks. This project will help them stay engaged and motivated to learn!
My Project
With spring just around the corner, my class is going to continue our studies of living organisms with a life cycle study of butterflies! Students learn best by doing and this project will help them do just that. The headphones are also much needed in our classroom for various activities, including our research and listening station.
Your donation will go towards providing our classroom with a hands-on learning experience with butterflies and the ability to listen to our stories independently.
