Busy Library Needs More Flexible Seating!

My Students

Students at BMS sparkle with potential and are eager to learn. 77% of students are minorities and 88% are low-income students who receive free and reduced lunch. Because our school has so few students, our library budget is very limited.

We need more chairs for our students!

At BMS, there is breakfast provided for all students and staff. After students eat, they come to the library to read, study, play games and visit. We are in great need of flexible seating.

My Project

After eating breakfast, approximately eighty students arrive in the library to study, play games, check out books and chat with their friends. It's a happening place! The Bryant Library provides students a welcoming, safe place for students to get work done or relax and enjoy their friends before the first bell rings. We don't have enough seats for all of the students who enter the library! To accommodate the number of students visiting our library, we need more flexible seating options. Flexible seating will provide our students with a positive and welcoming atmosphere for their age group and learning needs.
