My students need Bouncy Bands that attach to our desk chairs to support active learners, decrease anxiety, promote focus, and encourage kinesthetic learning.

My Students

I promote an active classroom that meets the needs of individual learners.

My school is a team who is set on providing the most accessible learning environment for all students.

In order to learn, I have students who walk around, stand at their desks, tap their feet, etc. I also have students who, every time a test is given, you see the stress on their faces.

My Project

My students should all be able to learn while also meeting their kinesthetic needs. Bouncy Bands will stretch across the legs of their chairs so the students can fidget, bounce, and not disrupt the learning of others. Other students will be provided an outlet for nervous and anxious energy.

As 4th graders, we understand the need of sitting at our desk during the day.

We also are aware of the differences in individuals and their learning. By utilizing Bouncy Bands, sitting in a chair may be necessary but doesn't have to be fully sedentary.
