Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach 25 energetic and ready-to-learn kindergarten students.
For most of my students, this is their first school experience, and I want it to be a memorable one!
Kindergarten is one of the first foundations for the rest of their educational careers, and your kind donation will help me maximize their experiences in my class.
Our school is located in Los Angeles, California. We are a 100% Title I school, which means all of our students qualify for free meals.
My Project
I am requesting a set of wobble chairs. These chairs will be used during small group instruction on my kidney table. During small group instruction, I am able to focus on what my students' individual needs are. These seats will help them stay focused and motivated while working with me during this time.
Wobble chairs are an alternative to traditional seating—giving kids a full range of movement and the stability they need to wobble without tipping over!
I believe my students will be excited to sit on these seats; they are fun and safe.
Each of our chairs features a comfortable, contoured seat and a rounded, no-slip rubber base…plus, the durable plastic chairs’ unique design helps strengthen core muscles while encouraging proper posture.
These seats are also easy to move around and small enough to store under my kidney table.
