With the help of Donors Choose and wonderful people like you, our classroom received a lovely new rug. My students are working hard to take care of their new rug, but we need a vacuum that will help us keep it beautiful. We hope to to use this vacuum and other materials to keep our room clean!
I work at a public Montessori school where the classrooms are made up of children that are different ages.
I have 11 brand new enthusiastic children that are 4 years old and 10 wonderful returning children that are 5 years old. I have a culturally diverse group of students who enjoy each other and love to take care of their classroom.
My Project
It may seem strange to be requesting cleaning supplies for a pre-k/kindergarten class, but as a Montessori school, our students take pride in their classrooms. Along with math, science, reading, and social studies we also teach practical life. My students are young but each student is proud to be responsible for various classroom jobs. I want to give my students child-size cleaning tools and a stand to place them in. I also want to give my students a vacuum that will help keep our brand new rug squeaky clean. Lastly we asked for colored ink to print labels and a Relax & Read Cube that will allow us to store books.
