Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Kindergarten classroom is an environment that is set up for learning, however students completing work at home can be a burden to parents. I know students at this age learn best with hands-on activities and they thrive with partner games.

My Project

The materials I have selected would provide students with activities they can do at home. I will drop bags off to them weekly and pick up at the end of the week. They will have access to Literacy and Math games that are hands-on for parents to work with them.

Students entering school for the first time have a kindergarten room full of exciting games, activities, computers and books for young children to explore and grow.

This new way of distance learning is not what parents or teachers had in mind for a child's kindergarten year, giving them Busy Bags that have a game, instructions, and hands-on activity can make learning easier for parents.

I have bags for Math that will introduce concepts of numbers, counting, and patterns. I also have bags for Literacy that will support skills in letter identifying and sounds.
