My students need to do classroom assignments and then be able to present to the class. This gives them some experience in real business type meetings, these are displayed in the classroom for review.

My Students

My high school is made up of about 750 students. Many of those these students are considered in poverty. Many students qualify for free or reduced lunch price.

Students in the different Business courses get a chance to learn and review about different types of careers, businesses, colleges and trade schools.

Students also spend time looking at their on skills, interest, strengths, weakness and develop a action plan for their own future.

Students get a feel for a real business type environment they will face in the real business world.

My Project

Students will use the business flip charts for classroom assignments and presentations. This helps each student learn to work with other students within a team and decide who will do different steps within the process. Example: (who is doing the research, the writing, what format to use on the chart and presenting to the class)

These business charts are displayed in the classroom for review throughout the semester.

Examples: (Business Plan, Market Mix, Product, Place, Price, Promotion).

The flip charts give the students a feel for a real business type meeting or project they will face in the real business world.
