My students need the little sofas to sit and read in the classroom because right now they sit on the floor. They also need the book stand for easy reading.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
They are low economic students and disadvantaged and are always eager to learn. My school also has a lot of English Language learners that are very excited and learn through hands on activities. I want to help my students because they are dreamers as well as writers and they want to aim high so I want to help them achieve that as much as possible. Some of them are an inspiration to others and can go very far if given the opportunity.
My Project
These sofas will be very well used because my students are from a low income school and we can not afford to buy them. Right now I have them sit on the floor but am afraid that they will get sick because the floor is too cold. I don't have a place to put their books so that they can be readily available for them either.
My students are still young and are barely getting to know their letters but get very excited when looking at books as they don't have any access to them at home.
I think this book stand along with the sofas will be of great help and very well appreciated if obtained.
