This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love read alouds. It's our favorite time of day! We love to laugh and practice critical thinking skills for the stories I read. Reading a story to my students allows me to model how to read pictures and words in a book.

Interactive read alouds are extremely beneficial for students' comprehension skills.

I would like to purchase a variety of books to read aloud to my class during our story time. These books can also be added to our classroom library so that my students may read them too. The books I chose align with many of the themes we talk about in school such as weather, spring, animals, and social-emotional learning.
