My Students

A typical day on the volleyball court goes bump, set, and spike. These are the essential skills necessary to compete against other schools. We work hard to compete with other schools, but we lack the resources necessary to properly compete, such as practice and game volleyballs.

The students at our school come from many different backgrounds and from various diverse cultures, speak different languages, and many of their families are struggling economically.

The students are full of energy, wonder, and enthusiasm. They attend a culturally diverse school in the state of Washington. Students have a love of fitness, enjoy their class and many turn out for our sport teams such as volleyball.

My Project

I am requesting volleyballs for practice and for games. Students will be able to get in a lot of practice if they have the materials needed to do so. When students get a lot of repetitions they experience greater success. They will learn to love the sport of volleyball. This is one of those sports students can play throughout their lives and be active adults.

Our nation has a problem with obesity and many diseases which are due to a lack of activity level in our society.

Help me get these kids active and successful so they go on to lead active lives. Without your health you have nothing.
