I coach volleyball and teach Spanish at the best school on the westside. I love my job and my students more and more everyday. I am so fortunate to have a job I truly love. However, my students are not as fortunate as I. Extra-curricular activities are truly extra here. There is bare bones funding for our athletics program and we are in need of many things in order to compete with our suburban counterparts. My athletes train hard and can compete at any level. Some may even go on to receive college scholarships. At the very least they will enjoy learning a game they can play well into adulthood and have a safe and healthy alternative to the streets. All we need are some volleyballs!

How about playing a varsity volleyball game with a ball that is five years old? We need game quality volleyballs for both our boys' and girls' seasons. Our parents do not have the disposable income to buy sports equipment for their children. They struggle on a daily basis to buy school supplies, gas and food. Sports and other extra-curricular activities are a luxury. We are dependent on the generosity of wonderful people like you!

Our needs are simple. We need ten game quality volleyballs for this fall and spring. We will use them again next year and the next as practice balls. This donation would make all the difference in the world to our volleyball program for over 50 young men and women.

Your generosity will enable my student athletes to play a game they love! They will enjoy hours of practice and exercise thanks to you! You can help them learn to play volleyball and to make healthy life choices. Who knows maybe one or two maybe even earn a volleyball scholarship! It takes so little to help these kids realize their dreams and we are so grateful to you and all donors for you generosity.
