My students need these bulletin boards because they are missing in our classroom and the painted area is now covered by paper. The others were in such terrible shape that they needed to be taken down.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Kindergarten students come from a variety of non-English backgrounds. Our school consists of mostly English language learners and 95% of our students are either free or reduced lunch.
The students have limited technology experiences and educational resources at their homes.
I am always amazed at the excitement for learning they bring each morning when entering the classroom. Their parents are supportive, but many are unsure of how to assist their children at home with learning. Our school offers many programs to assist them, but we need more supplies to encourage their academic growth.
My Project
Our classroom needs these two bulletin boards to replace the old ones that have been there for over twenty years. I couldn't staple or tape anything to the others, which made them worthless. They came down before school is starting, but I would like to get them replaced by October.
Students will use the bulletin boards as a reference for all of the required Kindergarten sight words that we are learning to read and spell.
It will act as our word wall and be used as a reference when students are reading and writing independently. Please help our classroom with this project!
