As a teacher in a special education, life skills classroom, my goal is that my students are able to become independent and successful adults. Each day my students work hard to learn the skills that they need to achieve some of their greatest goals and aspirations. Every day is an adventure in my classroom.
Each student has a different personality and different skills that they bring to the table.
We continue to learn from each other every day, and we will continue to grow together as the year progresses.
The materials that I have help us start our second school snack cart. We have been selling coffee to staff, but we will be starting a school snack cart. We will be selling snacks the snacks to the staff one time each week.
I want the students to complete the job as independently as they can.
This includes organizing the snacks into various baskets and bins, pushing a cart, and selling the product to customers. The items requested will allow them to set up the cart in a variety of ways, based on the product that we have at the time and the basket sizes.
