My Students
I work in a Title I school, that is high need. Many students come to my school to learn regardless of the circumstances they have in thier home-life. This year my district started a new program specifially for my school to help meet the basic needs of my students. With extra interventions, the goal is to set them up for success with an equal playing field.
My school's mission is to providing consistency and structure while educating the whole child (social, emotional, and academic) ensuring opportunities for growth and create patterns of success leading to college and career readiness in our connected community.
My Project
Flexible seating has benefited students ability to focus on their learning. I am asking for a set of six wobble chairs to use around the room at desks and tables.
Centers are an important part of the school day where students work independently.
I am asking for center games to help with skills previously taught. Pocket charts in a classroom are used in centers or to use when delivering lessons to the whole class.
All of these materials will go right into students hands and seats to help them succeed daily. These materials will reach a variety of learners who all have different needs.
