My students need to learn about a sense of time to be able to see how fast time goes by, plus building bricks will help my boys to build.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I work with forty, pre-kindergarten children throughout the school day.
During the school day, we sing songs, learn our ABC's, count, talk about shapes and the calendar.
We play in centers such as kitchen center, library center, art center and play dough center. We do a lot of crafts art work in our class room. My boys love to build with Legos and Lincoln Logs. We would like to have more STEM activities in our room. We would also like to be able to go on mini field trips for hands-on learning.
My boys love to build and the Legos will help them to learn to build things and work together. We can also sort with the Legos by size, color and shape. Learning about time with liquid timers and sand timers help the children to see how fast time can go.
We are a STEM Academy and Legos are an engineering tool.
We are one of only six STEM Academies in the state of Texas. Pre-k is in need of STEM activities like Legos and motion and sand timers for organizational purposes. Thank you so much for considering donating to our STEM classroom.
