This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is one that is built around students collaborating together in groups during activities. Gallery Walks have become increasingly popular among the students as they are up and walking to each station engaging in the content. The Post-it Easel pad will allow for this to take place more often inside the classroom.

Engagement in the classroom can be difficult to achieve, with the whiteboards and easel pad, this shall increase.

With the desks arranged in groups, the kids can use the whiteboards for competitions or even the bell ringer. I am excited to bring fun back into the classroom.

The bulletin board border is to help me execute a vision for our classroom word wall which will help re-introduce vocabulary to students in a creative way.
