Team games help bring students together through cooperation, communication and problem solving skills. Many of my students come from different cultures and speak different languages. It is vital to the success of our program and our school to bridge the cultural gap in our PE classes.
Many of our students are in school in the US for the first time.
They are bright, creative, and good natured students who often struggle with learning the ways of our country. Our school is small, clean, and progressively getting more modern and updated. The vibe and image of our campus has grown more positive in our community over the last 8 to 10 years. Our students embrace school spirit and the energy that flows throughout our campus. Our students have many hidden talents and simply need the opportunity to display those talents by learning to work and play with others.
My Project
My PE students are divided into 4-6 teams. These goals allow our PE program to incorporate a variety of soccer, lacrosse, and team handball type games. They will also help my students increase their level of daily activity, while learning the importance of being a part of a team or group. Time, organization, and storage space is a daily challenge. These goals allow for easy put up and take down, while saving space as they are collapsable. These goals will help my students and our pgrams to diversity the games that we are able to play and account for all students and their ability levels.
