My Students
My students come from diverse backgrounds and may have limited resources, but they come to school each day despite any obstacles they may face at home. My hope is to provide my students with the materials they require in order for them to be successful each day
Las Vegas is a melting pot of cultures, and our school is no exception.
We are a Title I school in an inner-city, which means we have a low socioeconomic population. My students do not have the luxury of traveling and building background knowledge through experience.
My Project
With the COVID pandemic, how we learn in the classroom and home have changed. We must make changes to ensure students are safe, so by having individual containers available we can do this safely. These book bins can be used in the classroom and they can take them home if necessary to do their work. The bins that I am requesting will help students keep their items separate and safe from others. Each student will have their own bin to store their books and reading supplies. The bins are easy to access and easy to put in backpacks to take home.
