My Students
I have a wonderful group of third-grade students. We are a high poverty school in an urban area. We have a very diverse group of students, at many academic levels. All donations will help our students get the materials they need to help them meet current state standards and end the school year at grade level or above.
I strive to make my classroom a safe place for all of my students.
My students strive for predictability and organization and I am so thankful that I can be the one to offer them those things.
My Project
These books will be able to teach students about social skills and empowering them to be the best that they can be. I like to read a picture book a day so that students can be immersed in different types of books that they normally might not read. I feel that it is so important for students to be read to and be read to often. My students would benefit greatly to having these in the in the classroom. I also have included some books that encourage students to achieve their dreams. These books also introduce people to the students that they might not be familiar with already.
