This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These engaging manipulatives offer a variety of graduated learning challenges. They help children improve their hand-eye coordination and eventually lead to creating intricate objects and designs. These tools are suitable for all students, providing both educational and fun experiences.

However, maintaining focus and keeping students engaged can be challenging, which is a daily goal for our classroom.

These manipulatives create an enjoyable environment for learning through play. Hands-on activities and tasks have proven to be the most effective in my preschool class.

At the start of the school year, many students need assistance with developing their fine motor skills. These manipulatives support that development by making learning fun, while also encouraging communication and socialization among students.

We plan to incorporate these manipulatives into various learning activities, such as counting, sorting, and graphing, particularly during our math sessions, to make learning more enjoyable for our young students. Our aim is to use these tools to engage all types of learners and integrate them into our learning centers to make education more enjoyable.

What makes my students unique is that they come from diverse backgrounds, and these manipulatives can help bring them together through shared learning experiences.
