Building Reading Confidence - One Record at a Time

My students need headsets to help listen to reading examples as well as record their own reading.

My Students

Rebuilding student confidence is pivotal to their success. My students know what it feels like to try and fail. Many are bitter towards school and especially towards reading because of their past experiences.

My students get the opportunity to change their educational narrative in our classroom.

Students in grades 3-6 receive supplemental reading support for 45 min a day, 4-5 days a week. They work in structured programs that support their English language goals and a instill a growth mindset.

My Project

By donating to our project, you will help provide Logitech Headsets for our classroom. In my class, students have the opportunity to listen to exceptional reading examples on technology devices. They also have the chance to practice pronunciation, fluency and accuracy while recording their own oral reading.

With a high-quality listening and recording tool, students will be empowered to analyze clear recordings of themselves and build their confidence as readers.

The ease with which students can use these particular headsets will help them work independently. Your donation you will not only help provide this equipment, it will enrich the literacy experiences for these students.
