The students at our school come from diverse backgrounds but mostly live within the Greater Charlotte area. We are so excited to extend our arts programming by presenting our first spring musical this May. We are looking forward to building a program together where students are given the opportunity to explore many elements of the performing arts in a strong, supportive community.
Giving students the opportunity to rehearse and perform a full scale spring musical, encourages creativity, problem solving and collaboration.
It introduces them to techniques used in STEAM fields and builds accountability and pride in their work
They love exploring new ideas and forms of expression both similar to and different from their own personal backgrounds and experiences. We are excited to expand our artistic opportunities by including more artistic tools and mediums for our set design department!
My Project
Purchasing a play collection will allow students the opportunity to study plays and conduct projects and rehearsals in a clean and organized space will give them the autonomy they need to become creative critical artists!
