My Project

I am incredibly lucky to teach an amazing group of first graders. They work hard and want to strive to learn and expand their learning. Providing these activities that will allow them to build upon their knowledge and have some hands-on materials in both stem and literacy to have in our classroom will be incredibly beneficial.

They love learning together and having some new materials to work independently and in small groups will help excite them to deepen their knowledge.

Most don't have the option to have these kinds of materials at home to use and having them available in class will make the learning come to live and allow them to be more engaged. The materials chosen will allow for them to have more access to the skills and standards being taught in first grade and will better prepare them for second grade.
