I teach freshman to returning seniors who primarily are on the Autism Spectrum. Some of my students have varying degrees of impairments with cognitive, sensory processing, language and social difficulties.
My students are learning job skills, and some are working toward industry certifications.
I want my students to be ready to enter the work force when they leave school. Many of the younger freshman are exploring and learning about career choices. Some of students know what they want to pursue and are taking my classes to get needed skills and certifications.
The classes I teach are Exploring Computer Science, Introduction to IT, Web Development, Microsoft Certified Professional and A+ Computer Maintenance and Repair. This project is for A+ Computer Maintenance and Repair.
My Project
I would like to get these computer parts so our A+ Computer Maintenance and Repair class can build a computer from scratch as part of their final classroom project. Our A+ Computer Maintenance and Repair class uses a program called TestOut to learn, and it simulates building a computer from scratch. I would like to give our students the chance to practice in real life what they have learned online. This will give them the equipment they need to be able to build a personal computer in our classroom. Thank you so much for your help and support in this project!
