Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My beautiful scholars are kind, inquisitive and open to all kinds of exploration. They work together, look out for each other, and celebrate each other's victories. They use their real-world experiences to build upon their everyday learning and love to use materials from nature to create and explore.

As an early childhood teacher, I feel it is my duty to create a fun, safe, and encouraging learning space that will help lay the foundation for how young scholars view school, learning, and the world around them.

My Project

My pre-kindergarten students are already having fun learning how to use a ten frame to represent numbers. I want to keep the momentum going by giving them hands-on materials to build on their knowledge.

These large ten frames and number cards will help bring their learning to life.

By including movement and colors, their math skills will soar to new heights. Distance learning has kept students and teachers apart physically, but we have not slowed down on the learning. With these materials, my students will be able to continue enjoying learning while at home!
