Building Our Motor Skills

My Students

Pre-K for all is now something that most of the children in the community will be a part of. It is an important part of a child's learning process and provides solid stepping stones for their success in the future.

The students that come in the classroom are ready to learn and be challenged.

We as educators would like to provide a learning environment that has materials to capture the interest of all students and help them to grow, play and learn.

My Project

It is now the half way point of the year. Some of our supplies are in need of replacement, our rest mats are starting to tear and we now have an indoor gross motor room for our Pre-K students.

We will use this gross motor room during inclement weather when we cannot go outside to our playground.

We would like to provide the students with indoor play equipment to use. They would love a basketball hoop to use in the room. It is an important part of our students day to exercise and play. Our classrooms are not big enough for our students to do this.

Also in my classroom some our cardboard blocks are falling apart ,and I would love to provide another variety of blocks (foam blocks) to add to the block center to give the students opportunity to create different structures.
